  • 4-5 Medium Apples
  • 2 Sheets Puff Pastry
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • Icing Sugar for Dusting

Instructions

  • Thaw the puff pastry sheets at room temperature. Preheat oven at 200℃
  • Peel the apples and remove the core. Cut them into small cubes. Put them in a pot along with brown sugar, cinnamon, cornflour and water.
  • On a medium heat cook until the sugar starts to melt. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes. The apples will be soft and tender.

  • Seal the edges with a fork and put 3 slits on the top of each turnover. Place them in a lined baking tray.
  • Brush them with lightly beaten egg and bake them for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow them to cool down and then lightly dust them with icing sugar.
